KC Challenge BMX Race Series!!!! Begins August 6th!

KC Challenge Race Series Rules!!!

First Race Thursday, August 6th at Raytown BMX. Second Race Friday, August 7th at Blue Springs BMX. Additional dates will be posted shortly. Double point final will be at Blue Springs in early September.

Entry Fee $10 due at first scheduled race.
8 scheduled races and one final double points race!
4 races at each track, (Raytown and Blue Springs) take the best 3 finishes at each track for your points total.
Final held at Blue Springs and will be a ABA double points race and double points series race!
Winner decided from the 6 best finishes including the double points championship!

You will have to sign up at the first two Series Races to be eligible for the giveaways and awards

Points will be given to every racer entered in series.

Points Schedule
1st Place 25
2nd 20
3rd 15
4th 12
5th 10
6th 7
7th 5
8th 3

If you don't make your main, you will receive 2 points.

After the final race, all points will be tallied and the awards for first through third place will be announced.

If you miss a race, you will not receive points for that event.

Winners in each "class" will receive a special champion award, and the second and third place finishers will receive series awards.

In the event of a tie of points, the winner will be selected by most wins.

Special Awards given for the following:
Bad Break
Worst Crash
Iron Man Award
Iron Woman Award
MVP Awards for Novice, Intermediate, Expert and Girl

Giveaways and drawings at every race for series racers! You will automatically be entered for them.

Proposed Classes:

Boys-6U, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16,17-18, 19-27, 28 and over
Girls-10U, 11-13, 14-16, 17-20, 21 and over
Cruiser-9U, 10-12, 13-15, 16-20, 21-27, 28 and over

Each class is per age group, Novice, Intermediate and Experts are all scored the same. Classes may need to be adjusted and depends on participation.

A race series representative will be present at sign-ups for the first two races. You will have to make sure your $10 is paid, and that your name is on the official series race sign-up sheet. Points will be updated and posted after every race.

Sounds like fun, and if the awards are as cool as the one's Scott made for the Mo-Kan series a couple years ago, I will be looking forward to this!!

Well I don't know, you see, I have a bad thumb, my knees are hurting, and I turn 44 on the 31st! I may need a head start!! LOL

Thumb and bads knees is nothing Aleve and Celebrex won't take care of....thus it only counts if your in a walker. :wink:

I know, I know. But sometimes a Vicodin (or 2) and a shot of Yager (or more) can help too!! :)
